Meal Vouchers

On the 18/02/2021 Wrexham Maelor Hospital children’s ward was given meal vouchers funded by Giddo’s Gift.

These meal vouchers will allow parents who are staying with their child to have a meal from the canteen paid for by the charity.

Childhood Cancer can cost up to an extra £400.00 per month when you have a child undergoing treatments with travelling to hospitals and for food in the canteens but unfortunately that’s including the loss of earnings that will be lost. So hopefully this small gesture will help families financially.

Eventually one of our aims is to get these meal vouchers into every childrens ward in Wales as well as Alder Hey and Clatterbridge in Liverpool.
