A significant portion of the funds raised through your support helps maintain and run Giddo’s Gaff, our charity caravan situated in the stunning surroundings of Greenacres, Porthmadog. This special retreat was Jordan’s favourite place, where he found happiness, tranquility, and the chance to make cherished memories. Today, we honour his legacy by sharing this haven with families who need it most.

Covering Running Costs

Our Bereavement Grants help families at their most vulnerable, offering financial assistance to cover the unexpected and overwhelming costs associated with losing a loved one.

2. Giddo’s Goodie Boxes: Snacks 24/7 for Teens & Young Adults

Cancer treatment is tough enough without adding hunger to the mix. For teenagers and young adults undergoing treatment on hospital wards, finding a snack when they need it most can feel like a luxury. That’s why we created Giddo’s Goodie Boxes—brimming with healthy snacks, comforting treats, and little pick-me-ups, available around the clock. These boxes ensure that no young person has to go without a little boost, no matter the time of day or night.

At Giddo’s Gift, we believe in transparency and in making every donation count towards a brighter future for children and teenagers facing the challenges of cancer. These cancers often require treatments that are invasive and have long-lasting side effects. CCLG is dedicated to advancing treatments and improving outcomes for children and young people with cancer. By funding world-class research and providing essential support for families, they work tirelessly to reduce the burden of childhood cancer and improve survival rates.

Focused on rare histiocytic disorders, Histio UK is a beacon of hope for families facing these challenging conditions. They fund research to better understand and treat diseases like Langerhans cell histiocytosis and hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, striving to improve the lives of affected children and their loved ones.

As the leading charity dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer, BCRT is pushing the boundaries of research to develop new treatments and save lives. Their work is especially important for young people diagnosed with rare and aggressive bone cancers like osteosarcoma and Ewing sarcoma.
