Paying tribute to the angels who have impacted our charity
In our Memory Garden, where love forever blooms,
We honour cherished souls, gone far too soon.
Their fight with cancer may have ended, but here their spirit stays,
And their wonderful memories live on through our charity’s ways.
Although their love and light we can never replace,
Their selflessness means a smile on another young person’s face.
Young hearts touched by cancer, finding new cheer,
Through gifts and support, we lessen their fear.
Each donation made in their memory, each fundraising campaign,
Means the world to those still with us, means their battle was not in vain.
To those of you with angel wings, your memories we uplift,
Thank you for helping us help other people,

Tasha Pickard, from Flint, a devoted mother of two
Giddo’s Gift are forever grateful to the family of Tasha for a substantial grant they presented to the charity in her name in 2023.
Tasha passed away after a diagnosis of Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumour, a type of spinal cancer, two years ago.
Giddo’s Gift was there to support Tasha’s family, who are also local to the area.
A family member of Tasha’s, who works in London, nominated us to receive funds from the proceeds of a number of discretionary charitable trusts, of which Wilmington Trust SP Services (London) Limited are the share trustee.
A total of £27,000 was donated to us in memory of Tasha Pickard.
Thanks to this outstanding gesture, a charity community development officer – Giddo’s Gift’s first employee – has now been appointed. This means the charity can achieve more than ever before, keep putting smiles on the faces of young adults and teenagers battling cancer, and help spread awareness of childhood cancer.
